about the art residency
La Maison Saint-Joseph is a space for transdisciplinary and artistic research, a refuge for creation that welcomes artists from diverse international cultures. At its core, msj is a place dedicated to creation and dialogue. A meeting point between traditions and technological advancements, msj carries both fulfilled and relinquished dreams, watching over collective and personal revolts. It is a situated (sedentary) exploration. As an art residency, it supports present transformations and the questions they raise. Above all, this residency is a home.

about writing residency
What is a writing residency according to us? A peaceful and pleasant place where everyone can contemplate, write, and recharge with like-minded individuals to boost a writing project. A documentary project, a short film, a series, or a feature-length film in cinema/audiovisual.where we perform.

about the workshops
What is a workshop according to us? It is a closed, silent space that fosters experimentation. It is a place where everyone can acquire knowledge, manipulate materials and tools, and discover their origins. A workshop is also a place for exchange, learning, listening, discovery, and play. Moreover, it is a place where cultural, disciplinary, and human encounters are woven together after one’s time there.
