maison saint-joseph

shared spaces and the valois region

Welcome to Maison Saint Joseph. Here you’ll find a secret garden with centuries-old acacia trees surrounded by rose beds – a perfect spot to relax. The blue sitting room serves as a space for breakfast, lunch, and conversations where you can share your thoughts and discoveries. Our common areas encourage learning from one another, while the woodworking workshop is available with guidance during scheduled times. The library offers a quieter space for personal exploration. These shared spaces are here for both community moments and time alone during your stay. Nestled in a 16th century mansion in the heart of the old town of Crépy-en-Valois, Maison Saint Joseph is an architectural treasure representing the excellence of Oise architecture. The building has been meticulously restored to preserve its original elements. The surrounding region offers rich historical and natural heritage: Gallo-Roman ruins of Champlieu, majestic abbeys (Royaumont, Chaalis with its Jacquemart-André museum), the charming village of Saint-Jean-aux-Bois, impressive castles and manors, and picturesque villages like Gerberoy and Pierrefonds – all in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature. Enjoy an exceptional architectural panorama spanning from the 11th to the 19th century.
