song workshop: writing time with joséphine
With:
Joséphine
Date :
12th october 2025
A writing workshop on the theme of time. What is time? A chewing gum-like substance that stretches and contracts, infused with our sensitivity and often beyond our control, despite our Google calendars and smartwatches. I invite you to reconnect with time by kneading it with written and spoken words, through various exercises for our pens and our tongues. Repetitive time, long time, time travel and the time of things – let’s explore creatively in small groups with our pens, our computers and our voices. Musicians are welcome to bring their instruments.
The day will be divided into two parts: from 10:00 to 17:00, there will be five writing exercises on the theme of time, with a lunch break. From 18:30 to 20:30, there will be an open stage where participants can share the text they created that day, either alone or in a group, accompanied by music or silence. Joséphine will also offer sound creations made from sound material recorded on the day to accompany your texts. The open stage will be accessible to people who have not participated in the workshop, and you can also share poems, songs, sketches, or anything else you would like to express through voice or instrument.
